How To Apply

Step 1: Clean the Skin Around the Sensor

Clean the skin around the sensor using an alcohol pad to remove oils and dirt. 

• Waterproof Tip: This cleaning step provides a foundation for strong adhesion, preventing water ingress during activities like daily showers or swimming, supporting the waterproof USP for workouts and showers up to 10-14 days.

Step 2: Pat Dry with a Cotton Pad or Clean Tissue

Pat dry gently with a cotton pad or clean tissue, avoiding harsh rubbing. 

• Waterproof Tip: Completely dry skin ensures the Henkel medical-grade glue bonds securely, enhancing water resistance and keeping the patch intact in humid environments like workouts or water exposure.

Step 3: Peel Off the Center Liner of the Patch

Carefully peel off the center liner of the patch without touching the adhesive surface. 

• Waterproof Tip: The center liner design keeps the adhesive clean, allowing the patch to seal tightly around the Dexcom G7 sensor, blocking water during swimming or showering without lifting.

Step 4: Carefully Align the Patch Over the Sensor and Press It Down Gently

Carefully align the patch over the sensor and press it down gently for a precise fit. 

• Waterproof Tip: Accurate alignment activates the elastic adhesive layer, creating an edge-lift resistant barrier, aligning with the flexible and tear-resistant USP during intense movement like workouts.

Step 5: Peel Off One Side Tab and Press It Down. Repeat with the Other Tab

Peel off one side tab and press it down firmly, then repeat with the other tab. 

• Waterproof Tip: Pressing the tabs secures all edges tightly, boosting skin-friendly and hypoallergenic hold to prevent water seepage in daily showering or swimming for up to 90 minutes

Step 6: Firmly Press and Smooth the Patch in a Circular Motion

Firmly press and smooth the patch in a circular motion to eliminate air bubbles and fully activate the adhesive. 

• Waterproof Tip: Circular motion distributes the Henkel glue evenly, reinforcing the durable and waterproof USP for 10-14 days wear, even in sweaty or wet conditions.

How To Remove

To avoid skin irritation, apply baby oil or lukewarm water to the patch and wait 5 minutes before slowly peeling it off.
